Welcome

Everyone at Habitat for Humanity® of Scotland County would like to give you a warm welcome to our website!  Here you will find valuable information about the history of HFHSC, how to qualify for a new home, keep up with our upcoming events, and learn how to volunteer.

Habitat for Humanity of Scotland County has an open-door policy: all who believe that everyone deserves a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to be a part of the organization’s work regardless of race, religion, age, gender, politics or any other distinction that too often divides people. In short, Habitat welcomes volunteers, supporters and potential homeowners from all backgrounds.

As a matter of policy, Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliated organizations do not proselytize. We will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must either adhere to or convert to a particular faith or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith view.

At Habitat for Humanity, we work together to empower families daily. The sustainability of our organization is critical so we can continue to partner with those in need to build strength, stability and self-reliance through homeownership. We bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

  • We build homes for families who in turn become citizens contributing to our community by owning a home, paying taxes, etc.
  • We have our Roof Repair Ministry to repair roofs.
  • 185 Roofs were repaired from the damage of Hurricane Florence.

Habitat for Humanity of Scotland County receives its operating income from the following sources. The participation and support from people like you are paramount to our successful Mission.

Habitat for Humanity® of Scotland County is built and hosted by Ferguson Consulting.
